“HOMESICK”, is a documentary geared towards people of Haitian descent, who feel nostalgic for their country. Culinary specialties, waterways/beaches/rivers, mountains, hikings, tourist sites, are highlighted to celebrate the unique ecosystem of our country. Remembering the essence of our country, while nowadays it is difficult to move around - both for the locals who are locked inside their homes in fear, and for the diaspora who can't come to their home country to fully explore it. Through the lines of our book ''Wealth in the midst of Poverty'', one can notice that we are a group of young people passionate about our country, who want to create an awakening of consciousness among all people of Haitian roots, so that we remember we have a jewel to cherish, a pearl to protect.
